POLICIES & OTHER INFO ✺
General Policies
-
Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the full duration of the class. A Parental Consent Form must also be signed by the legal guardian at the front desk prior to participation. Clients aged 16–17 may attend classes independently; however, a Parental Consent Form signed by a legal guardian must be completed and submitted prior to their first class.
-
No late arrival will be permitted, all classes begin on time, late-arrivals will result in a no-show.
-
Please cancel at least 12 hours before class so we can offer the spot to someone else and move the waitlist. If you late-cancel or no-show, a $15 fee will be applied to contract memberships, or you’ll lose the credit from a class pack.
-
To maintain a clean, calm, and distraction-free environment, we ask that no personal items, bags, or cell phones be brought into the studio.
We recommend leaving your belongings in the designated areas before class so you can fully disconnect, focus, and enjoy your time on the mat or reformer.
-
We offer lockers in our change rooms for your convenience. You’re welcome to bring your own lock, or we have lock rentals available at the studio.
Please note that House of Gia is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items, so we recommend keeping your belongings secured at all times.
Reformer
-
All of our Reformer classes at House of Gia are designed to be all levels, meaning our instructors offer guidance, options, and modifications to support both newer and more experienced clients within the same class.
That said, if it’s your first time on the Reformer, we recommend starting with our “Slow Basics” classes. This class is intentionally more slow-paced and foundational, allowing you to become comfortable with the machine, learn proper form, and build confidence before exploring our other Reformer classes.
For those who prefer a more personalized introduction, we also offer private one-on-one Reformer sessions. This is a great option for beginners who want dedicated guidance and a deeper understanding of the equipment before joining group classes.
-
Yes, grip socks are mandatory for all reformer classes at House of Gia. This is to ensure safety while using the equipment and moving through class.
You’re welcome to bring your own, or you can purchase a pair from our studio. We also offer grip sock rentals at the front desk if needed.
If you arrive without grip socks and choose not to purchase or rent a pair, you will unfortunately not be able to participate in the class.
-
Our Reformer studio is intentionally designed as a semi-private experience, with just 4 reformers per class.
We’ve chosen to keep our classes intentially small so that each client receives a more attentive, personalized experience. With fewer participants, our instructors are able to focus on form, alignment, and individual guidance, creating a safer and more effective workout.
While larger classes can feel less personal, our approach allows you to feel seen, supported, and guided throughout your entire session, which is something we deeply value at House of Gia.
-
We offer a range of private reformer sessions for a more personalized experience.
In addition to one-on-one sessions, you also have the option to book for 2, 3, or up to 4 people. This is perfect if you’d like to enjoy a session with friends while still receiving a more tailored, semi-private experience.
Private sessions take place outside of our regular group class schedule, meaning you’re reserving the studio exclusively for you (and your group, if applicable).
We offer different pricing options depending on the size of your group. To get more information, simply contact the studio, and our team will share pricing details and help coordinate a time that works for you and the instructor.
-
If you have any injuries or limitations (including Diastasis Recti) please let our team know ahead of time so we can add a note to your account. This allows your instructor to be aware in advance and thoughtfully adjust class planning to support you.
We also recommend starting with a ‘Slow Basics’ reformer class, where you can receive more guidance and hands-on support 🤎
-
Please bring water, grip socks, a locker lock, and a face towel.
Grip socks are mandatory for all reformer classes for safety and hygiene. If you don’t have a pair, they are available for purchase or rental at the studio for a small fee.
For safety, glass water bottles are not permitted in the studio.
If you’re missing anything else, rentals are available at the studio for an additional fee🤎
Mat classes
-
All of our Mat classes are designed to be all levels.
If you’re new, we recommend starting with a non-heated class, as it allows you to move at a comfortable pace while getting familiar with the exercises and flow.
Our noon classes are 45 minutes (instead of 60), which also makes them a great option for beginners looking for a slightly shorter, more approachable introduction.
-
Please bring water, your mat, a locker lock, and a face towel.
For safety, glass water bottles are not permitted in the studio.
If you don’t have these items, no worries, rentals are available at the studio for an additional fee 🤎
Please note
A Note About Our Schedule
Our class schedule is designed to evolve. Because our classes are led by instructors with changing availability, our schedule may shift from month to month as teachers’ schedules, availability, and time with the studio naturally change.
Classes may be added, adjusted, replaced, or removed throughout the year. Seasonal demand, instructor availability, holidays, studio programming, and the needs of our community can all influence when and how often classes are offered.
For this reason, specific class times, instructors, or weekly class frequencies cannot be guaranteed for the duration of a membership or class package.
To stay up to date with our evolving offerings, our live schedule is released on a rolling two-week basis and reflects our most current classes, instructors, and availability.”
As our team and community continue to evolve, our schedule will too, and we’ll always do our best to keep it thoughtful, balanced, and full of ways to move with us. 🤎
